West Ham United are reportedly preparing an ambitious bid to bring Cesare Casadei back to the Premier League for the 2026/2027 season. The Italian midfielder, who has been revitalizing his career at Torino, has emerged as a top priority for the Hammers' recruitment team to strengthen their options in the center of the park.
Casadei, standing at 1.85m, has impressed scouts with his late runs into the box and aerial dominance, qualities that Julen Lopetegui believes will add a new dimension to West Ham's attacking play. After finding his rhythm in Serie A, the 23-year-old is said to be open to a return to England to prove himself at a club where he can enjoy a more prominent starting role.
The East London club is expected to face competition from other European sides, but they hope that the promise of a leading role in their tactical setup will tilt the balance in their favor. Negotiations with Torino are likely to begin around a €25 million valuation, as West Ham looks to finalize their squad depth early in the summer window to avoid a late bidding war.
