Spanish journalist points to possible swap deal between Aston Villa and Real Madrid involving Endrick

Spanish media reports that Aston Villa have emerged as the latest club to express interest in Real Madrid striker Endrick, joining Manchester United in the race to secure the 19-year-old Brazilian. Endrick has struggled for game time under new Madrid coach Xabi Alonso, who has yet to give him a single minute this season.

The forward, signed from Palmeiras in 2024 for £61 million, has started just three league games and made 36 appearances in all competitions for Madrid, but he is reportedly no longer in Alonso’s plans. Endrick has told his representatives he will need to leave the Bernabéu unless his situation dramatically changes, citing concerns that his lack of minutes could threaten his place in Brazil’s squad for next summer’s World Cup — despite former Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti now managing the Seleção.

Aston Villa are exploring a loan deal in January, with Real reportedly seeking a club willing to cover all of Endrick’s wages. Manchester United, West Ham, Lyon and Juventus are also monitoring the situation, with United reportedly open to a six-month loan at the start of 2026.

Once hailed as the next Ronaldo, Endrick is eager to reignite his career elsewhere after a difficult spell in Spain.
